Location: Oman
Qualification: B.E Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in construction management preferably in the Oil and Gas or similar industry
Minimum 5 years experience gained in the Middle East.
Job Summary:
• Based at site.
• Oversee and manage all construction activities including ground up construction, ensuring projects are meeting or
exceeding client and company expectations.
• Direct a team of site engineers, site supervisors, field superintendents, foreman and other staff as applicable
• Lead the development and implementation of company and departmental process and best management practices within
the areas of responsibility.
• Ensure effective contract administration including generation, review, management and monitoring of prime contracts,
subcontracts, change orders, cost forecasts and other pertinent documents and documentations. Assure that internal
controls are in place at each step of the process.
• Inspect work in place and work in progress to ensure same meets or exceeds quality, specification and schedule
requirements.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external team members including staff, clients, subcontractors,
vendors and other industry professionals.
• Direct departmental staff to ensure efficient and effective departmental performance including training, professional
development and career advancement opportunities.
• Reports status, successes, challenges and plans of action to the management team and company on a timely basis.
• Participate in the development of new project proposals
• Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards
