Job Purpose:
Execution of business strategies to achieve targets set for particular distribution centre/Cash & Carry store and providing feedback in order to improve business efficiency.
Decision Making:
To manage the key drivers of store operations by maximizing operational excellence and managing costs in order to achieve effective management of human resources.
Key Tasks and KPI:
- Make recommendations to the development of the annual and middle-term plans of the Operations under his / her management – taking into consideration themarket environment and with the help of optimizing the operation costs – to achieve the possible highest results.
- Determine the number of workforce and its qualitative composition to have available workforce in the number and quality needed for the efficient operation at any time.
- Check, analyze and evaluate the Operation’s actual economical performance against the approved budget in order to recognize differences from the plans at the possible earliest time, to identify problems, and forward the information to the relevant manager and/or area (regional manager, sales, and purchase).
- Direct, instruct floor managers and heads of departments to ensure the continuous operation of the establishment.
- Form working atmosphere in order to ensure adequately motivated workforce. (P: fluctuation, statistics of sick leaves).
- Coordinating with other functional teams to improve Operations.
- Keeping Check of the cleaning and sanitizing activities in all designated areas on a daily basis.
- Communication with store, buying and supplier for customer complaint on operational issues
- Coordinating / Managing supply chain from source to stores
- Managing product pricing in line with category strategy and targets, market risks and opportunities within the overall corporate budget process.
- Reviewing brand/supplier performance and profitability.
- Regular market (Retail + Wholesale) visits for price monitoring
- Succession planning: To identify and develop your employees for next level to fulfil business needs.
- Customer Care and satisfaction: To know and fulfil customer’s needs and expectations by talking to them on regular basis.
