Business Development Manager, Islamabad

We are seeking candidates for the position of Business Development Manager  at a Technology Marketing Company

Position Title: Business Development Manager
Position Location: Islamabad
Sector: Technology Marketing Company (Company utilizes
start-of-the-art technologies/knowledge for marketing of client’s
products and services.
Company Type: Specialist company -- that provides services to large
multinational companies (and others)
Salary: Rs. 50 to 70K

Essential Requirements:
- MBA from LUMS (or similarly prestigious educational background)
- About 2 years of work experience
- Experience of selling services -- preferably in advertising or other
services industry

Description:

The Business development manager should be a highly motivated sales
professional with a proven record of success in the B2B selling
environment, preferably in the advertising sector at director level.
The basic function of the Business Development Manager is to
proactively and systematically by developing new direct clients and
partners, and creating, building, and strengthening long-term
relationships with direct clients, partners by providing professional
marketing solutions; thereby driving sales and revenue.

·       Capable of working independently, and having responsibility as
an individual
·       Define and follow up of quarterly targets and objectives.
·       Develop existing business.
·       Develop and implement strategies for new services.
·       Provide direction and guidance to the respective departmental
operations in order to ensure alignment with the company’s strategies.
·       Develop and mentor a team of leaders to ensure maximum
resource utilization.
·       Develop and deliver the business plans through carrying out
research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business
reports.
·       Increase the company’s corporate involvement with the existing clients.
·       Further develop multi-tier relationships to organically grow
the clients’ accounts.
·       Prepare the annual, Business Development and Work Plans.
·       Develop and manage marketing tools for existing and new clients.
·       Adopt a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and
execution of marketing Programmers.


Candidate’s Profile
·       MBA. Preferably from LUMS
·       Age preference is 25-35 years
·       Knowledge in product development and corporate sales.
·       At least 3 years experience in similar industry; preferably
from advertising/service industry.
·       Excellent negotiation skills.
·       A pro-active self-starter who can act both individually and as
part of a team.
·       Confidence to present a tailored presentation to potential
client team by effectively using a range of presentation skills i.e.
body language, voice tone etc.
·       Ability to deliver a tailored sales process to achieve targets
/KPI’s by generating leads, asking probing questions, using most
appropriate features & benefits based on clients needs and matching
with a tailored solution
·       Ability to identify new business opportunities using hit wise
/ relevant research tools / sector specific targeting and cold calling
·       Ability to manage and maintain accurate and accessible
tailored documentation i.e. Presentations / proposals to meet clients
needs
·       Higher commercial insight and a reasonable record of
confidence dealing with middle managers and decision makers.
·       Strong relationships and experience in corporate sales.
