Sales Operation Manager

This is a leadership role for developing of an integrated Business Plan for a Category. This plan equips the Field Sales organization and multi-functional resources with category strategies, plans, initiatives and concept sells sufficient to ensure the volume and share requirements by category and brand are achieved. The position’s key role is to bring the ‘’Outside & External’’ perspective to the ‘’Internal Teams’’ so that the company business plans are more and more externally focused.  Via using relevant brand knowledge and field experience, this position is a catalyst in delivering plans matching brand objectives and market situation.
Strategy Development and Deployment:
·         Contribute to the business review and budget planning for Trade Activities/TPRs.
·         Ensure alignment between Sales and the Marketing Plans.
·         Ensure the deployment of the strategies in a practical manner to the field Sales teams.
·         Incorporate learning from other relevant geographies while developing plans adapted to local business strategies and market requirements
·         Take a lead role in multifunctional innovative projects (E.g. with IT, CS, Finance).

Business Plans Development and Deployment:
·         Based on local analysis/research/data, develop category analysis.  Where do we see ourselves with the customers (vision, key business drives, concept sells) to equip the Sales teams with the right info for the customers (Trade).
·         Define and align company sales fundamentals objectives.
·         Define the trade spending budgets with the clear components
·         Develop in-store materials and plans aiming for a clear in-store persuasion and position
·         Develop together, in conjunction with the relevant multifunctional teams, the right and complete plans to achieve sales fundamentals and volume objectives by category/brand.
·         Develop the plans and concept sells to ensure the success of New Initiatives.
·         Set up a tracking system on tracking Key Sales fundamentals.
·         Work with Field Sales Managers to implement in-store promotional plans in the trade.
·         Contribute to the SOP and forecasting process by bringing in the customer/trade perspective.
·         Ensure alignment between SOP forecast and objectives. Lead interventions with Head of Sales & GM, if defined plans or competitive actions make the forecast lower than objectives.
·         Monitor the category business plan vs. objectives and lead business plan interventions as necessary to deliver the objective.
·         Keep Regional Field Sales Managers in the loop while developing and rolling out relevant business plans. 


Competitive Analysis and Information:
·         Analyze and have a clear picture of competitive information.
·         Lead the development of plans or concept sell needed to maintain our competitive edge.

Key Skills/Experience Required – specific education/certification, specific functional experience, language etc NEEDED for the job.  Please note that this is not necessarily the incumbent’s personal background.
·         University Graduate
·         5-6 Years of work experience in FMCG
·         Very Good English and Urdu language skills
·         Strong computer skills (Word, excel, powerpoint, outlook crucial)
·         Basic Financial background is a must .
