One of our Clients is looking Planning Manager for the following role.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

·          MBA/Post Graduate in Management with 8-10 years experience in handling Production planning in an FMCG company – preferred
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·          Assess demand forecasts and recommend medium to long term capacity requirements.
·          Co-ordinate with Head-Sales to build accuracy of sales forecasts.
·          Convert quarterly sales forecasts to real time demand plans at an SKU level by factoring historical sales pattern, sales promotion program and marketing inputs in respect of PM/RM.
·          Ensure PM/RM availability to service production plans and fine tune.
·          Develop measures to compute SKU wise service levels to sales plan and customer orders. Endeavor to improve service level KPI’s and reduce the extent of lost sales.
·          Review and monitor non moving/slow moving stocks and escalate for liquidation well ahead of expiry.
·          Develop a distribution plan and day to day delivery plans in consonance with sales orders and in stock finished goods. Co-ordinate with Warehouse and Logistics Manager for order service status.
·          Develop measures for working capital employed on inventories RM/PM/FG and devise interventions to improve the KPI on working capital.
·          Carry out periodic studies on product SKU off takes and provide necessary intelligence for portfolio rationalization.
·          Negotiating skill on Sale & Purchase of goods to third party and intra group transfer
·          Pricing.
·          Conversant with Line Optimisation, Oil Commodity – Risk Management
