A Lahore based organization is currently looking for AIX Systems Administrator with the following skill set:
· At least 2 years experience in the last 5 years as a systems administrator installing, configuring, and updating the AIX Version 6.1 operating system;
· (KSH) and/or Perl scripts for automation of system monitoring and maintenance procedures;
· At least 1 year experience with Logical Partitioning and Virtualization on IBM pSeries Power6 systems;
· 1 year experience in performance tuning on AIX.
AIX System Administrator must have the below qualifications
· IBM p-series server administration
· Experience in Systems P LPAR and Hardware Management Console (HMC) management
· AIX installation and configuration
· AIX Logical Volume manager (LVM) management
· AIX and Linux User management
· Working Experience on IBM HACMP and TSM
· Working Experience on high-end IBM p-series servers such as P595 and P570
· Tivoli Storage Manager Installation and configuration on AIX, Linux and Solaris platform
· Working Experience on IBM Storage management
· Experience on Storage DR Replication and Flash copy management
· Experience on Storage SAN host attachment for AIX, Solaris, Linux and Windows server
· Troubleshooting of problems and issues related to OS on AIX and Linux
· 24×7 Support for production AIX and Linux based servers
· Health check, performance monitoring and capacity planning of all UNIX servers
· Documentation of procedures and other required for Auditing
