IT Strategist

Habib University Foundation is a not-for-profit organization which responds to existing gaps in the educational scenario of Pakistan by supporting educational initiatives, research and innovation. The Foundation is establishing a liberal arts and sciences university which will offer interdisciplinary education in science, engineering, arts, humanities and social science. The University will have modern state-of-the-art facilities to attract the best faculty around the world. The Foundation invites applications for the following position of the University:

Senior Strategist, Information Technology

The position will be responsible for development of Information Technology (IT) strategies and programs for the University including planning and implementation of infrastructure to meet IT demands for academic, research and administration functions. The incumbent must be a planner with a vision for how IT permeates academic and business operations of a high-quality university. The successful candidate must possess a post-graduate degree in Information Technology and should be a seasoned implementation manager. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of IT systems and operations, project management, large-scale system implementations and information security.

The successful candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills combined with a service-oriented attitude. The incumbent must have proven interpersonal and team management skills as well as the ability to work independently. The prospective candidate should have the aptitude to work under pressure and comply with strict deadlines. The candidate should have willingness to take initiatives and be flexible.
