Corporate Security Executive - Safety & Training

Certification(s): Certification or Security professional's course (PSP - Security Coordination & Management).
Fire Safety Advance, Work Place Safety, Fire & Emergency Handling, Hazardous & Risk Management, Fire Safety Basics (Fire safety chemistry, Extinguisher operation, Hazardous Material, Fire Hazards, Evaluating Situations), First Aid Advance, Health & Safety.


Experience Required: 3 years relevant work experience in HSE and/or International Security

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:  
Must be able to implement security operations initiatives and policies as directed by the Assistant Manager and Manager, Corporate Security.
Must be able to respond to all emergency calls in and around the premises and render first aid.
Respond to all fire and emergency detection alarms.
Must be able to oversee all hazardous work activity and report unsafe conditions.
Act as the primary contact for facility management staff during an incident.
Conduct and document safety inspections of fire safety equipment.
Provide and document fire prevention inspections.
Ability to conduct accident and fire investigation.
Appoint floor wardens in consultation with HSE.
Coordinate emergency response/action planning and execution.
Quickly learn and put to use new skills and knowledge brought about by rapidly changing information and/or technology, learn and correctly apply routine division and department policies and procedures.
Must be able to handle heavy work-load effectively and efficiently.
Must be able to complete designated tasks on time and to the required standard.
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team.
Calm and assured in stressful or dangerous circumstances.
Be available 24/7.
Good interpersonal skills.
