Engagement Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Solution Delivery
• Oversee multi-phase, multi-dimensional, multi -resource projects from inception to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Own team resource schedule
• Develop timeline estimates, resource requirements and detailed project plans
• Drive compliance with operational aspects of the consulting practice:
o Ensuring delivery of contractual commitments
o Ensuring adherence to Project Management Office (PMO) delivery & risk mitigation standards
• Monitor and adjust estimates to integrate new constraints
• Responsible for the ultimate success and satisfaction of internal AND external customers and partners:
o Communicating effectively with project teams and customers, and partnering with legal, sales, and internal application security subject matter experts to achieve customer and Microsoft objectives
o Given the sensitive nature of application security services, be prepared to recognize and resolve unique customers needs/requests
o Own & resolve key issues upon escalation
o Identify & proactively resolve issues which encumber delivery

2. Marketing Strategy and Customer Presentations
• Responsible for developing customer outreach strategy. Including development of marketing material such as C-Level presentations, technical sales presentations, elevator pitches.
• Conduct customer presentations on our services (both technical & non-technical presentations).
• Drive awareness of our services to the Microsoft Services sales field by partnering and collaborating with sales executives, account managers, engagement managers and other account team members.

3. Strategy and Business Development
• Work with application security service owners to help define, develop and optimize service line strategy and offerings
• Assist in developing proposals and partnering with team leads to staff projects
• Maintain key business relationships and enable achievement of specific objectives around all GTMs for their respective business segments
• Assist in maintaining/enhancing the readiness process for offerings within specific areas of expertise in Practice

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 5+ years working experience in Consultancy, Architecting, Design, Deployment and/or support of software-related products or services.
• Previous experience in the area of application security (code reviews, threat modelling, application security training) service deliveries is desired.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft technology, competitive positioning and experience in the area of application development and security
• Strong Project Management skills and experience
• Stellar oral/written communication, organization and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated effectiveness in a customer facing role
• Understanding of IT applications in several industry verticals will be a significant plus

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• A bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field
• Industry Certifications such as MCSE 2003, CISSP a plus
