Accountant

An accountant from Lahore is required for a small medical & bookstore.
Qualification: B.Com with hands on experience on Quickbooks Small Business Accounting/Peachtree/MYOB software is compulsory. Must be proficient with MS Excel. IT skills and some taxation knowledge is a big plus.
Candidates with accounting and book keeping experience at retail shops will be preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years

Company is currently migrating from manual book keeping with single entry system to Quickbooks Accounting Enterprise.
Detailed job responsibilities is as follows:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger, and document business transactions.
Resolve accounting discrepancies. Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare annual financial statements and periodic accounting reports.
Explain accounting policies to staff.
Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports
Other duties as assigned.
