Qualification Graduation Degree in the field of computer science or IT
At least two years or equivalent work experience in relevant job role.
Certifications in Microsoft and Networking would be preferable.
Experience 2-3 Years Previous Service Desk Experience
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and XP along with other Microsoft Applications e.g. Microsoft Office 2010/2007, Internet Explorer, Windows client network and system administration and maintenance.
Solid understanding of IT service best practice
Related Competencies Excellent technical knowledge of PC (laptop / desktop) hardware, including DELL, HP, ACER, Sony, IBM, etc.
Excellent technical knowledge of PC internal components, including Hard Disk, RAM, Mother Board, DVD ROM, Wired and Wireless Network Cards, Batteries and other internal components..
Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards, including Windows 7, TCP-IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
Ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories.
Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
Personal Attributes Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct research into server issues and products as required.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
