SCOM Administrator

Qualification    Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems
    ITIL V3 Foundation certified as a minimum
    MCTS System Center Operation Manager with MCSE
Experience    3-5 Years Previous Systems Administration Experience
    Extensive Microsoft System Center 2007 and Windows experience (Windows 2003/2008)
    Solid understanding of IT service best practice
Related Competencies    Sound expertise in Microsoft Windows Server platform
    SCOM effectively and understand the product configuration
    understand fully the base OS and SCOM Management Packs
    Able to auther MP
    Extensive knowledge and understanding of SLA Dashboards
    Sound knowledge of ACS Service and able to customize reports
    SCOM day to day operation understanding
    aware with the best practices
Personal Attributes    Good written and oral communication skills; good interpersonal skills.
    Ability to conduct research into server issues and products as required.
    Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
    Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
    Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    Strong customer service orientation.
    Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Work Conditions    On-call availability in case of emergency and/or during project executions.
    Sitting for extended periods of time.
    Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components.
    Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
