PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
· University Degree – Engineering any discipline with 8 + years experience in Rolling Mills - Long Products (Production and Development).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and improve procedures for the reclamation, melting and molten processing of alloys with emphasis on improving quality, productivity, and cost.
· Developing practices and process controls for the production of all products with emphasis on improving quality, productivity, and cost.
· Troubleshooting electro-magnetic casting (EMC) and direct chill (DC) casting issues, development of casting practices and cast practice maintenance.
· Developing and revising process controls and operating procedures.
· Utilizing extensive process data systems to monitor and improve the casting and rolling processes.
· Planning and conducting tests to evaluate process changes, statistically analyzing the data and reporting the results.
· Providing disposition of molten and solid nonconforming material.
· Planning trials, operating and analyzing data from LiMCAII (Liquid Metal Cleanliness Analyzer) to evaluate processing options, and analyze quality problems.
