DEPUTY MANAGER - PURCHASE

Company: Our Client is a leading manufacturer of Shoes, tyres and rubber materials Location: Lahore HQ
Experience: 10 yrs +
Education: MBA/MS/ME
Skills: Strong personality and excellent communication skills Reports to: Factory Head
Duties & Responsibilities:

·    Lead/manage the Purchase team.
·    Forecast procurement needs.
·    Prepare SOP and ensure implementation.
·    Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials in a timely cost effective way while
    maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
·    Receive purchase requisitions/estimates (for local and imported materials), approve and issue
    purchase orders within two days (inform to seniors in case of any delay).
·    Manage and evaluate the relationship/performance of vendors along-with exploring of new
    sources.
·    Develop sound/clear purchasing strategies.
·    Keep the inventory within the budgeted number of days/value for different categories.
·    Finalization of price, terms, delivery time and quality standards of materials with vendors.
·    Arrange materials according to required dates for smooth production process.
·    Buy the best value: a combination of right quality at the best price/supplier service.
·    Achieve high inventory turnover i.e. to meet materials requirement of production by keeping low
    stocks.
