Degree(s)/Major(s): 1. B.E. Electrical Engineering/BCS/B.S (Computer Engineering)
Skills required
1. 1-2 years of working experience in managing power infrastructure, Data & fiber networks.
2. knowledge of power infrastructures including different models of installations, UPS, breakers, Power Management modules, Air Conditioning etc.
3. Basic knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Windows based high end systems, with HA/Cluster and Disaster Recovery configurations, Storage technologies like SAN, FC etc as required to support a mission critical IT Systems Infrastructure
4. Experience of managing environment monitoring
5. Should have proven experience of working and delivering under stress situations, with a more focus on solution than the problem
6. Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
7. . Work with the Project Manager and Data Center Management staff to develop the proper set of operational tasks and
8. Procedures necessary to facilitate a smooth working of Data Center.
9. Serve as primary point of contact on a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week basis, in charge of coordinating critical disaster recovery procedures directly impacting the stability/working of data center operations.
10. Facility management including data center capacity strategy, managing capacity planning, floor plans, power and cooling systems, planning for greening up data center, presenting vision to multiple levels of management
