A software development company is looking for a talented resource for the following position:
Job Description:
"We are looking to hire a researcher to extend an existing Network Intrusion Detection system. The software/hardware solution is already among the market leaders and it beats VT (42 AVs) at places. But the challenge is to keep chasing Botnets and run continued analysis on suspicious behavior of malicious plus non-malicious binaries, in order to keep our system strongest at TP/TN data and still keeping it FP safe.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has a PhD (recent would do just fine), either from a local uni (I would prefer this) or from somewhere outside Pakistan. In either case, the candidate should be a researcher in true sense of the word, and should have the drive and ability to come up with enhancement suggestions based on market/AV comparison, and should also be able to write small proof of concept code snippets."
