One of our Clients is looking for Group Head (Warehouse) for the following role

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION · CA/ACCA/ACMA/MBA/Engineer with minimum 5-8 years.
· Should be familiar with warehousing activities through computer application recording and movement of material stock control, coding of material, replenishment of inventory stock material, Audit stock.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES · Plans and directs the activities connected with receiving, storage and shipping.
· Ensures accurate inventory maintenance and maintains timely distribution schedules.
· Utilizes new technology and processes to maximize efficiency.
· Develops policies and procedures for distribution processes in order to ensure optimization and compliance with established standards and regulations.
· Ensures Safeway policies, procedures and practices are strictly adhered to, including ensuring appropriate audit, controls and segregation of duties
· Accurately records and reports all relevant data to ensure optimal financial integrity.
· Responsible for safety/sanitation programs to meet or exceed company standards.
· Establishes and maintains a safe and healthy work environment and provides a high level of safety awareness among the warehouse team through continual interaction, communication, education and enforcement of safe work practices.
· Ensure work areas are free of hazards and remain clean and orderly.
· Drive continuous improvement in the areas of increasing productivity and avoiding cost, lean distribution, 5S principals, continuous improvement and return on investment.
· Develops and manages warehouse and facility maintenance operating and lifecycle replacement budgets.
· Develops strategy for improving key performance indicators including but not limited to cost per case, case and weight based productivity and injury frequency rate.
· Develops and executes an effective people development program, with Human Resources as a partner.
· Succession planning, training, coaching, mentoring and professional evaluation.
· Develop high potential management personnel to accept leadership roles in facilities throughout the organization.
