Key Responsibilities
Prepares configuration management status reports for relevant
stakeholders
Actively works to ensure smooth and timely software build, release
management and software deployments
Facilitates in establishing and implementing configuration
management processes and SCM best practices
Facilitates in exploration and induction of tools and technologies
related to SCM and release management aimed at improving the
efficiency and effectiveness of the function
Required Competencies
A degree in computer sciences or equivalent
Excellent team and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of SCM processes
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Understanding of web based application deployment and configuration
process
Knowledge of Linux or Sun-Solaris platform would be a big plus
Drive for accomplishment in a challenging work context
