Job Requirements / Responsibilities
· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science, or a similar discipline
· Desire to succeed in a high intensity system administration and management environment.
· The ability to adapt to new technology is critical as is competency
· Install and configure IBM Tivoli Software
· Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
· Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
· Contribute to and maintain system standards.
· Basic knowledge of security (SSL, data encryption, GS Kit, system user accounts)
· Basic knowledge of protocols including HTTP, LDAP, and SOAP
· knowledge of OS, networking, and firewall concepts
· Performs system software upgrades including planning and scheduling, testing, and coordination.
