Job Description:
· Involvement in requirements analysis and impact analysis in coordination with business analyst and software architect
· Working with software architect to refine and elaborate software design to appropriate level of detail
· Facilitating project manager in scope estimation
· Programming key modules or components
· Identifying design patterns and coordinating with team members to maximize code reusability
· Leading team members by example
· Facilitate team members in resolving technical issues
· Ensuring adherence to development standards, processes and best practices within the team
· Act as mentor to software engineers
· Facilitate in establishment of best practices related to software engineering
· Conducting research on tools, technologies, domains and solutions relevant to the assigned product(s) and/or project(s)
Required Skills:A degree in computer sciences or equivalent
3+ years experience in software engineering, including analysis and design
Expertise in Java, especially in J2EE and related technologies
Preference will be given to candidates with hands on experience with APIs and frameworks like Web Services, Java network programming, Struts and Hibernate
Ability to think in objects and patterns
