Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for smooth working of design and development of products
Job Responsibilities:
1. Design Verifications
* Responsible for reviewing / verification of design in development of product, proposed by Product division’s PM. After the design verification by CTO final approval will be given by Technical HOD
* Provide his input in Test Cases for evaluation of product in development / beta
2. QC in production
* Responsible for QC documents and enhancing the standard of QC through them by modifying them
* Over all responsible for QC activity in china by WT china staff
3. PLM
* Responsible for ensuring that all products which are being developed or bought by Wavetec are part of the PLM (thru PLM coordinator)
* Specifications of all should be well defined and a road map should be given to complete the task
4. Vendor Criteria
* Should come up with the technical specifications / process / criteria for WT Vendor and CMs selection and assist HOD in their approval (approval by HOD)
* Responsible for setting up measures to monitor / make sure that Vendors and CMs operate as per the approved criteria, specs and processes
5. Certifications
* CE of eQ products, one by one
* UL or FCC of eQ products, one by one
Ideal Background:
* BS/MS in Electronics Engineering
* 3-5 years of experience
* Foreign degree and experience will be given preference
Skills Required:
* Experience of designing complex (working) projects
* Demonstrated success in technical leadership roles
* Outstanding leadership ability, including ability to motivate associates with different backgrounds and skill levels
* Excellent communication and decision making skills
* Outstanding level of drive, and the ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
* Open minded and good listening skills
* Proficient in English both written and verbal
