As a business Analyst, you will be reporting to project manager to perform the following: • Document features of a system at hand for new development, modification, or re-engineering purposes
• Conduct reviews of functional specifications with product managers, developers, quality assurance, operations & customer service teams and finalize the specifications based on their input
• Provide ongoing support to development and QA teams successfully development and in implementing these features in the product
• Work with product management and sales on new business opportunities
• Use Requirements Management Tools to iteratively manage requirements
Requirements:
• Must have 3-5 years experience in telecom domains, knowledge and understanding of mobile commerce, mobile payments, point-of-sale payments, ecommerce, online banking, online bill pay, EBPP, EIPP, etc.
• Must be experienced with payments systems, technologies, processes, and standards such as Visa/MC/AMEX, Direct Debit, ATM/POS networks, ISO8583, OFX, Wire, SWIFT, Reconciliation, Settlement, Risk Assessment, etc.
• Must be experienced with diagramming various aspects of a system, (e.g., use case, page flow, process flows, entity relationships, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, state diagrams, application components, UI mockups or wire frames, etc) and experienced in documenting the potential attributes of components and features, (e.g., configuration, security, etc)
• Must have excellent writing skills and experience generating specifications and documents from researched information; a solid technical understanding of mobile client-server architecture, web services, general database technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle), and various software languages with the capability to research technical issues • Must understand the various technologies used by the Development organization (e.g., .NET, Java, STK, Brew, JSP, XHTML/HTML, and XML) and be able to put together a business solution that meets business requirements
• Must have experience developing complete and concise technical documentation, (e.g., functional specifications, technical notes, software change requests, business processes and procedures, etc). Documentation may include customer-facing documentation at times
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of vendors and customers
• You should thrive in start-up environments and be able to work with minimal supervision
Qualifications
• Bachelor's/Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
