PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
·         MBBS / Bachelor's in Pharmacy with 8+ years of specialty pharmaceutical/ sales training experience
·         2-4 years successful experience in pharmaceutical sales role.
·         3-5+ years of sales training management leading direct reports with a leading company
·         Outstanding track record of coaching and mentoring resulting in the development of others
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
·         Apply their talents in training new pharmaceutical representatives, specialty market representatives, and tenured pharmaceutical sales personnel on selling skills, disease state knowledge, and other competencies related to pharmaceutical sales.
·         Expected to guide the design, development, and implementation of training programs and materials to support the sales force needs.
·         Work closely with the Marketing Department and Leadership Development team to enhance product sales growth within the corporation.
·         Manage the development and deployment of sales training and development programs into the field forces.
Manage, coach and develop Sales Training Manager(s) within the region.
·         Deliver and evaluate training programs, curricula, and corresponding training materials for field representatives and management.
·         Manage and direct field trainer programs. Develop and implement a program to select, train, and utilize regionally based personnel for training support.
·         Organize, facilitate, and continually improve field training, meetings, and the deployment of new materials.
·         Establish new hire training protocol for field hires to ensure completion of all training materials.
·         Proactively conduct on-going communications with field leaders and other key stakeholders to identify training needs in the region and work with the central training function to develop specific training objectives to meet those needs.
·         Spend regular ride time with field force.
·         Conduct training presentations on disease states, products, and contextual selling skills for all types of audiences
·         Partner with Corporate Organizational Learning & Development to ensure alignment with company learning and development philosophy.
Attend appropriate training classes to maintain an advanced level of knowledge.
Support finance organization with reports and cost estimates as required.
·         Strong communication skills, demonstrated both verbally and written, and a strong working knowledge of computers is preferred (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
