Quality & Assurance Head required

Our client is looking for the Quality & Assurance Head position for its Karachi Office.

Requirments

Educational Qualification:
A post graduate degree in related discipline e.g. BS, BCS, MCS , MS etc .
Experience:
At least 8-10 years of related experience in similar capacity in reputed organisations.
Salary:
60-80K (Negotiable)
Details of the positions are given below:

GENERAL JOB OBJECTIVE:
The position of VP QA & Audit exists for the purpose of formulating, implementing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction from within and outside the organization. The position incumbent is primarily responsible for supervising QA & Audit teams in conducting Quality Assurance review and audit of various departments of KalSoft. The responsibilities of the position also include managing and reinforcing continuous process improvement, taking initiatives and suggesting areas where improvement is required, administering Internal Quality Audits and identifying areas for process engineering/re-engineering.
KEY RESULT AREAS/PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· Formulate and implement company wide quality assurance & audit procedures ensuring adherence to corporate quality policy in consultation with external quality consulting firms and senior management.

· Ensure agreement of all departments / products with quality standards by conducting internal audits / surveys and coordinate with all departments for Quality Audit and post audit adherence.

· Reviewing progress reports on periodic audit(s) of the different departments of KalSoft (excluding Finance)

· Ensuring compliance of systems and procedures with KalSoft standard policies and processes.

· Monitoring Process Improvement activities for various department of KalSoft.

· Ensuring that KalSoft management objectives are taken care of while conducting audits.

· Performing evaluation and tracking progress and performance of the QA and Audit function.

· Ascertain timely development of quality products / patches, and documentation according to specifications and quality standards/procedures.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Reviewing audit reports prepared by the QA & Audit Team, ensuring that planned and surprise audits of different departments of KalSoft are properly conducted and submit audit reports to the management.

· Supervising Manager QA & Audit in preparing report on targets achieved during previous year and develop plan to be implemented during next year in accordance with the annual objectives decided by the management for QA & Audit function.

· Ensuring that QA & Audit team works cohesively and tasks assigned to them by the manager are in line with the organizational objectives. Also ensure compliance through effective monitoring.

· Providing leadership and technical facilitation to the QA & Audit team in taking process improvement initiatives i.e. implementation of quality standards and process improvement etc.

· Ensuring that KalSoft policies and procedures are updated according to audit/appraisal findings or as per any change requested by SEPG. Also ensures that the same are complied with during normal work practices.

· Supervising necessary trainings on quality assurance and related practices to the management, project teams and individuals to ensure that operations are performed as per KalSoft QMS.

· Ensuring that QA & Audit team is effectively monitoring and managing continuous process improvement cycle in KalSoft and that policies and procedures are updated for improvement as and when required.

· Identifying conformities/non-conformities to highlight weak areas for improvement and ensure that all the policies and procedures along with all projects/products are compliant with KalSoft management objectives.

· Upholding quality standards in order to distinguish KalSoft as an exceptional IT organization of Pakistan . Take initiatives and introduce best practices in the KalSoft on a continuous basis.

· Serve as member of the Management Review team and provide input for the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) i.e. tracking actual performance against forecast / expectations.

· Conducting performance reviews, managing career planning of the QA & Audit team. Also provide feedback and recommendations on annual salary revision and career progression.

· Liaising with HR for matters pertaining to attendance reports, salary slips, leaves, hiring and performance appraisal and assessment etc.

· Performing any other task assigned by the superiors.
