Reports to: Automation and Electrical Engineer
Job Purpose: Maintaining the electrical, control, instrument and automation installation in the factory.
Ensure plant runs smoothly, to achieve budgeted Yield and most importantly, Availability.
Support Operators in their AM tasks, and helping them understand how the machine works.
| Job Context: To execute maintenance, improvement and investment works. To attend breakdown and rectify in the shortest possible time. To read and understand and update equipment instruction manuals. To carry out simple mechanical jobs as and when necessary Assist in supervision of contractors To perform any task assigned by supervisor To troubleshoot, maintain and modify the hardwire control circuit To troubleshoot, maintain, configure and modify PLC hardware &software and operator interfaces (Panel view, data liners, digital displays etc.) To troubleshoot, maintain and modify filling and packing equipment electrical system. To understand and interpret single line and control schematic diagram To practice and be responsible for all electrical safety aspects. To operate, maintain and troubleshoot substation equipment electrical system, lighting and small power system, electrical devices such as DC/AC motors, drives, control devices, lighting, chargers, etc.. Basic and intermediate electrical calculation-motor KW/amp, cable type/sizing, motors starters selection, volt drop. To troubleshoot, service, repair and modify pneumatic/electronics instrumentation system To service, calibrate, configure and tune transmitters, controllers, control valves, recorders, weighers etc.. |
To maintain and trouble shoot communication devices (PABX, modem etc)
