Manager Procurement

2.MBA preferred


Certification(s): CIPS preferred

Experience Required: 6-8 years work experience

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:  
-Ensure and manage smooth procurement process and a high purchase efficiency with a view to removing the bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve departmental performance
-Negotiate and obtain the best possible prices and TCO from reliable suppliers by constantly monitoring prices, monitoring competitive supplier's activities. Other important aspects include the negotiation of volume discounts, negotiations for economical credit terms and supplier rationalization
-Strategic Planning and Research work: The core activities in this area include economic, industry, and supply market studies; development of material buying strategies; development of supply base and partnering plans; product research and value analysis work; operating and information systems analysis; and on-line (Internet) trading analysis.
-Ensure 100% compliance with Internal audit requirement
-Monitor and Ensure Savings (Negotiations based or Cost based) in the total cost of ownership model for any purchase.
-Development of skilled & professional team to meet the objectives of the department and as well as for the company.
