Job Description:
To approve software for release only after all product issues are identified and addressed in key areas:
- Test Scripts/Test Case Writing.
- Test Execution.
- Test Automation.
- Defect Tracking.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Insuring full compliance with standards and procedures for software’s and process.
- Insuring that inadequacies in product, process or standards are brought to managements attention so that they can be fixed.
- Develop testing approach and plan.
- Develop Test Specification.
- Develop and maintain test cases, tools and scripts.
- Conduct tests to accurately determine the status of product development.
- Provide the team with the data related to product quality.
- Track all bugs and communicate issues to insure their resolution before product release.
