Director/Assistant Director of Administration - GIFT University, Gujranwala
GIFT University, Gujranwala, commenced its operations in September 2002. It is chartered by the Government of the Punjab, and ranked by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan in category “W”, the highest ranking category applicable to universities in Pakistan. The University intends to strengthen and enlarge its faculty and management team. This position will head the administration cell of the University and work under the direct guidance of the Rector. Job Description:

-Software analysis, design, development, and support activities in conformance to the development standards.
-Execute various RnD activities related to network security.
-Time estimation for tasks with respect to size and effort.
-Ability to conduct analysis and design activities on multiple tasks.

Skills Required:

- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science/Engineering .
- 1+ years of development experience with C/C++. Fresh graduates may also apply.

- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking. Knowledge of various network protocols such as IRC, HTTP, FTP, TFTP etc would be a plus.
- Knowledge of snort, its configuration and signature writing would be a huge plus.
- Experience with languages like Perl or regular expression writing is highly desirable but not necessary.
