Person should have familiarity with IT environment or show ability to quickly learn in a short period of time during interview. Sufficient training on platforms will be provided.
Requirements:
- Fresh graduates or candidates with some (2-3 yrs) experience.
- Programming skills are required for UNIX shell scripting only (developers/programmers need not apply).
- 7X24 availability is required and may include being on job on holidays and weekends as maintenance windows are given during off hours.
Tasks may include and are not limited to:
- Provide first level production systems support
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to create formalized documentation (Very important and a MUST)
- Flexible schedule availability to include some coverage beyond the typical work day
- Entry level Unix (AIX, HP, Solaris) or Windows or Linux Systems Administration skills are preferred
- Familiarity with Oracle Database systems is preferred
- Familiarity with networking concepts. Network troubleshooting ability including PING, Trace route and other methods of determining connectivity
- Ability to switch between multiple projects and tasks quickly and efficiently
- Highly motivated and detail oriented
- Strong analytical, organizational and research abilities
